Bharti and Bijal are upset when they learn that Mona has stopped the vendor from delivering Bapuji’s Gujarati newspaper. Bapuji is hurt. Mona tries to explain the reason why she has stopped the newspaper. Anukalp tries to take Mona’s side but Bijal stops him. Baa tells Bharti that perhaps Mona does not like them. Bharti is furious at Mona for hurting Baa and Bapuji’s sentiments. Bharti laments that Mona has failed to live up to her expectations. When Anukalp tries to explain, Bharti dismisses him, saying that he has changed after marrying Mona and was hardly concerned about the family.
